Welcome back to school !
Children in Langley Primary school are starting to use basic greetings and asking and responding some basic questions in order to be able to manage in a short dialogue with their Spanish friends. Children in Y1 have learnt to say some of their favourite toys that we have in the classroom.
Children in Y1 have learnt body parts singing and dancing. It was really funny indeed! Also, we labelled the parts of the body of a picture and practised our reading, writing and listening activities through a variety of games and competitions.

Describe a monster
Children in the school have learnt about Christmas traditions in Spain and what the children are doing during the Epiphany day ( the Three Wise Men's day). Also, we learnt the bilingual song of Feliz Navidad to wish Merry Christmas to our friends and family.
Moreover, children made postcards and decorations using Spanish greetings.

Today children in Y1 recapped the song of the numbers 1-10 but today we went further and learnt a few more numbers 11-20. We used some phonics and pronunciation tips to be able to remember most of the numbers 1-20.
