Cultural Events in school
As part of our Cultural activities within school we have some exciting celebrations coming up within the next couple of weeks.
Reception Class Workshop – Wednesday 6th April
Reception class are holding a parent session where they are invited into their children’s classroom to take part in making some Easter themed art and crafts from 9.15am – 10.00am. 0000
Easter Celebrations – Thursday 7th April
On Thursday 7th April we are asking children to come to school in a T-shirt they have decorated themselves at home – the T-shirt is to represent Easter and new life. There will be a prize for the best T-shirt in each year group. Throughout the day the children will be learning more about the meaning of Easter.
Celebrating Eid day - Thursday 28th April
To celebrate Eid the children are asked to come to school in colourful clothes. Within the celebrations the children will learn about how this event marks the end of Ramadan (fasting) and the importance of charity and thinking of others.
*Please note there will be no monetary donations requested for either of these days.
